The Lower School
Sue Hipkens
As the gatekeeper of the Lower
School library, Mrs. Hipkens
welcomes her students with life-
sized stuffed animals, comfortable
sofas and a colorful collection of
books. Her eagerness to exchange
personal favorites with students or
discuss a book is a testament to her love of literature and
children.
The heart of any school is its library; exploring the
stacks, reading the classics or simply skimming a newspaper,
students are inspired by the literature of the world. Sue
Hipkins floods the heart of Trinity School with a true love for
learning and a passion for literature. Welcoming the Lower
School into her comforting embrace, she reads her favorite
books to us, carries us into new worlds and broadens our
horizons. Perhaps we will never have the pleasure of
meeting Amelia Bedelia, or the Cat in the Hat, but Mrs.
Hipkins has brought us one step closer.
