the school year draws to a close, students begin
making their plans for the summer. Most of them go home to
family while others stay and work on campus. Some students often
participate in missions trips either through their church or with friends
These missions trips take them out of their own culture and into for

traveled to Japan for an experience she would never forget. "While we
were in Japan we had the opportunity to minister in many different ways
such as teaching child and adult English classes, cleaning the church and
school, playing our flutes in chapel and Sunday services, and helping
with the joy club ministry and the nursing home ministry. While we were
involved with these ministries we saw much fruit from our labor."
Elizabeth Taglianetti was also was involved in missions work this
past summer, but closer to home. Elizabeth worked with CEF (Chris
tian Evangelism Fellowship) in Connecticut for the summer helping
to reach others for Christ. "This summer I interned with the Child
Evangelism Fellowship chapter of Connecticut. It was such an amazing
experience! God brought me to a place that was many miles away from
home where I didn’t know anyone else. I learned to depend on Flim in

Summer missions trips allow students to see what the Lord has
