      The culmination of any major is the capstone course. This





      class is intended to draw together the students’ knowledge





      acquired from their previous classes and prepare them for





      further study in their fields. The literature seminar class is






        for English majors. The students in this class spent most of

       ate school and possibly teach college-level history. The his­





      tory seminar class is designed to prepare a person for the





       major fields test as well as for graduate school. Although





      we don’t meet as a class regularly, we meet with Dr. Wiggins





       to discuss our research papers. The course structure is in­





       tended to be similar to a graduate course in that the major­






       ity of your grade comes from a single research paper.”
