here were many classes
T available to incoming
freshmen. Two of them were
treble choir and concert choir. As
a freshman girl, the treble choir
offered a learning experience. The
girls sang together and grew
together in order to produce more
mature voices.
Concert choir was for freshman
boys. This choir stressed the basics,
such as reading music and
breathing techniques, and included
sophomore, junior, and senior
girls.
At a contest on April 23 the
choirs competed for ratings at
Papillion High School. The treble
choir received a "one,” or superior
mark, with such comments as
"nice expression" and "good sense
of style".
The concert choir received a
"two." The two choirs gave
freshmen a chance to get involved
in teamwork, discipline and
performing. It also opened up the
door to the other choirs: varsity,
chambers, and swing.
At a performance in the theatre, the eager
concert choir watches Mr. Price for
directions.
