phants go to school to learn how to log and
stack, counselor Jo Rives feeds the elephant
bananas. The people of Thailand respect the
elephants. Nine months out of the year they
work. The other three months they are sent
to the forest to eat and breed.
Poverty striken. The homes in downtown
Manila provide shelter for the poor Philli-
pinos. The homes are located on a polluted
river.
