Thanksgiving brings with it turkey,
pumpkin pie, and the popular football
games. Delhaas begins the day preceding
Thanksgiving, to arouse school spirit.
The day is not complete without the
Homecoming Dance held for Delhaas
students and alumni of Delhaas.
These activities sponsored by Smdent
Council, provide a wholesome and spir
ited Thanksgiving for all.
The parade unites the students in a com
mon goal, that being to display their
elaborate decorated cars and to all cheer
for the victory over Pennsbury. The dance
"Presenting the three winners of our motorcade.” This picture shows the brings all the students together for a
parade through Bristol which preceded the Thanksgiving day game. Numerous night of fun and fellowship.
groups of students worked hard to plan and decorate their autos. Through this
event the spirit of Delhaas was aptly portrayed.
Thanksgiving is truly a memorable day
at Delhaas High School.
Color Day is a day of Blue and Gold attire and students dress to compete for prizes. Here are
the Color Day winners from left Cathy Allen, Rose Gargani, Dennis Leventhal, Anna Mae
Palermo, Hazel Himmilfarb, George Brewington, Beverly DuGuay and George Wilmot.
