On December 4, HOSA partici
pated in the American Red Cross
Blood Mobile. HOSA members
assisted nurses in the prepara
tion of blood bags and getting
patients onto their tables. Senior
Jimmy Whitney was one of the
volunteers to give a pint of
blood. HOSA received an
Outstanding Achievement
Award at the Red Cross Recogni
tion Dinner for their work with me
blood mobile.
During the month of November,
HOSA members participated in
the Great American Smoke-Out.
Seniors Christa Fauble, Lori
Penny, Shannon Burns and Cheri
Apetz show their support by
wearing the T-shirts HOSA made,
with a frog on the front and the
slogan “Kiss me I don’t smoke”.
Freshman class t-shirts were
distributed during lunch. Fresh
man Adam Lane observes the t-
shirt he purchased.
