The purpose of the SCR is to supply reli­
gious enrichment for the student body. Its
goals include aiding students to clarify and
understand their beliefs, understanding and
appreciating the beliefs of others, and
together, furthering growth and maturity in
their respective faiths. In November, a pro­
ject was set up by the council to collect
STUDENT money to buy food for needy families in Fort
Lauderdale. Other activities included the shar­
ing of beliefs and faith, discussions, and
RELIGIOUS involvement in prayer groups. For the first
Pine Crest Prayer Breakfast, the council was
COUNCIL able to get Doug Coe, chaplain of the House
and Senate, to speak at the school.
