The Pine Crest International Relations Club pro
motes student interest in foreign affairs. The club
travels to Washington, D.C. to participate in the
North American Invitational Model United Nations
(NAIM UN ), run by Georgetown University. There
the club competes as a designated nation (this year
the students represented Norway) against other
schools in a mock U.N. The club’s Homecoming
float, modeled after the Congress of Vienna, took
first place in the float contest. Members also held an
art auction to finance their trip to the nation’s capi
             tal.
