In the District 11 tournament, the Panther
wrestlers came alive and placed six out of eight
wrestlers entered. This enabled the team to fin­
ish third, half a point out of second, and ahead
of many larger schools. Mark Hyatt and Marc
Macaluso won individual titles; Brian McManus
and Jeff Behring were runners-up, while Charlie
Opperman and Dan Cecil each took a fourth
place.
