April 28, 1990, at Brunswick-Mockingbird Senior Jeff Hizer said he didn't like the
Lanes and provided a fun drug and alcohol rule for calling home when you left be
free environment for 154 Ralston juniors cause some parents were pretty upset to
and seniors and their Prom dates. receive a call at 3 a.m.
Ralston Community Drug Awareness Prizes at Post Prom included a televi

Papillion students who attended a post prom
party of the boat last year said the boat be
came boring after a few hours. Thomas said
the council didn't want to use the high
school because it may have had a "downer
effect" on a festive evening. Having the
party at the high school would mean going
from an elaborate setting at Peony Park to a
setting that the kids see everyday, Thomas
        said.
           Rules and regulations allowed students
to enter at 12:30 a.m. but no later than 1:30
a.m. No drugs or alcohol were permitted,
nor was anyone permitted to enter under
the influence. Students could smoke, but
Thomas said it was a hard decision to make
because of the number of students who
didn't smoke that objected to the idea. Par
