The Ram swimmers had a great season in the water. A very young boys
team missed a perfect season by a total of four points with a season record of 7
wins and 2 losses. According to Coach Hill, “As is often the case with young
experienced athletes, we were plagued with hard luck. Disqualifications in
relays cost the team a second River Cities Conference title. The girls had a
similar season with senior Amy Haas leading the way. The girls performed well
at the River Cities meet capturing the number three place behind South Sioux
City and Abraham Lincoln. Bad luck struck the Rams again when the NSAA
declared one of the Rams ineligible to score points in the meet. Here’s what
sophomore Zach Bruhn had to say:

which took him about two
years to learn. The Ram
divers practice during the
season about five to six times
a week. Sprague said he
enjoyed diving because,
