Dusty Dubbs was putting on his warm-up pants. He went to put his leg in the pant leg, and he fell over flat onto
his face. He was lucky he didn’t injure himself.”
On the team’s leader:
Bojanski: Dusty was definitely leader of the team. Everything we did went through Dusty. He is a great
player and always was there in the clutch situation. He led us in virtually every statistical category.”
On the motto: “On A Mission”
Bojanski: We got it because we knew before the season that we had a goal to get to State, and we looked at
the season as a mission to get to the State Tournament.”
Fly’s thoughts:
The 1994-95 basketball team would like to have a tradition of making it to State. We are a good example of
hard work and dedication. We would like future teams to have no less of a goal. Ralston isn’t just a baseball
school anymore. Hopefully next year’s team and future teams will be able to set a tradition of Ralston High
School being a basketball school.”
