On the team’s awards:
Studts: “We got first at the River Cities Conference competition. We got second place at metro in Novem
ber, and took second at Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee, in December. We also got the top team award at
camp.”
On the funniest moment of the season:
studts: “When Holly Schroeppel tripped and fell over a wrestling mat in the middle of a wrestling meet.”
On the squad’s leader:
Studts: “I’d say our leader would have been Angie Weber. She always wanted us to work, and she had a
positive attitude.”
On the high point of the season:
Studts: “Nationals and State Basketball. We did well at Nationals and State basketball was fun to cheer at,
and we were really proud of our team.”
