“At Mount Mason, we’re progressing northwest of Kalgoorlie
our access to the port of Esperance and
our rail capacity to the port as well,” Du-
rack said. “Those discussions are moving
along, but right now, we’re looking to be
producing in the June quarter next year.
That’s our target.
“We have positioned ourselves well, we
went out to tender on all of the major con-
tracts last year, we are now down to pre-
ferred contractors. They are standing by
for us to re-engage so they can re-price
the tenders.”
Once moving into FID, Durack antici-
pates Juno to achieve further funding via
a combination of debt, equity and pre-
payments. All major contracts for Mount
Mason have also been tendered and pre-
ferred contractors have been notified.
“It’s exciting times for Juno and I’m look-
ing forward to getting Mount Mason hap-
pening as soon as we can,” Durack said.
