The Winu-Ngapakarra Cu-Au-Ag deposit (“Winu”)

• Winu is located in the Great Sandy Desert of

Western Australia, approx. 100km NNW of Telfer

• Access is via Great Northern Highway and several
unsealed roads, mainly constructed during oil and
gas exploration prior to the 1990ties

• Weather conditions are extreme, temperatures can
o
reach up to 50 C and the area is frequently affected
by tropical cyclones

• After discovery in late 2017, RTX applied for a large
area of tenement which together with j.v.’s cover a
large part of the northern Yeneena basin/ Paterson
orogen
