INDIA, THE LAND OF MY DREAMS

India is my motherland and I feel proud of being an Indian. It is a country where people from

different cultures and religions live in harmony with each other. We share joys and sorrows together

and stand tall to defend our country whenever it is needed. India is the best example of Unity in

Diversity. The beauty of India lies in its diversity. Despite so much diversity in culture, creed,

custom, language, religion, region etc. we are all bound together with a thread of love and humanity.

No matter which part of the country we hail from, we are Indians first. India beats in the heart of

every Indian.

India was the golden bird in ancient days but had to suffer rigorous exploitation by the invaders. Post

independence, it has evolved and has seen a lot of advancement in the field of Science, Technology,

Education etc. It is the land of my dreams. I dream of India that not only excels in the fields

mentioned above but also restores the very essence of being a human i.e. Humanity. We have been

the torch bearers of peace and harmony since times immemorial. We have always believed in the

concept of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ where the whole world is our home. There is a lot of unrest in

the world today and being the world ‘guru’ only India can bring about this change. I would like to

contribute my bit in the development of my nation whole heartedly. I wish its cultural heritage remain
intact forever. All hail my incredible India!
