I am born in Tehran, Iran and came to the States to continue my education and ended up
staying after graduation. Remember the phones on commercial flights that would snap in
st
the back of each seat? Delta Airlines offered the United States’ 1 public air-to-ground
telephone system with Airfone and I was part of that development team. One testing
involved flying around on a small plane with its belly open, so we could test the coverage
when transitioning between towers. Good thing we’re not asking our QA to do the
same I love traveling, hanging around with friends, and going to the movies.

Jocelyn Wilson, Co-Chair
Director of Logistics
I am originally from Kansas and a graduate of Kansas State University. My husband and I
have been married for 27 years and we have two daughters. I have been with the
company for 22 years. As a Director at Spok, I have had the great privilege to lead an
amazingly diverse team of individuals. They have taught me to be open-minded, curious,
and the importance of integrating our differences to accomplish a common goal. I love
musicals, sweets, binge-watching Netflix, and spending time with my family.

Latricia Heggar
Customer Support Manager
I am from a small town just 2 hours outside of Dallas, TX. I love to cook, sing, and dance
(dancing is my favorite)! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My family
has a reunion once a month back home that we have had the opportunity to enjoy for 15+
years. I have a 15-year-old daughter who keeps me busy and certainly makes her presence
known. She enjoys playing basketball and needless to say, I am her biggest fan! I am not an
avid traveler, however, I think that may change in the foreseeable future. We both look
forward to helping our communities achieve their goals by donating to food banks or
volunteering for other charitable causes. I have had the pleasure of working for Spok for 20+
years and certainly look forward to our future.

I was introduced to computers when I was in Europe before 1991. However, my interest to
study and work with computers started when I was in Japan in 1991 where I was exposed to
the technology of electronics. That is where I decided to learn and become a computer
programmer. Then, I joined Jamestown College in ND, USA, and became a computer
programmer. I also love nature, enjoy recreational parks, videography, and more. I was
born in Africa, have been in Europe and Asia before coming to the USA. I plan to tour Israel
and someday visit Australia and South America.
