Frogger Golf–Leap Ahead froggergolf.com
One of the most frustrating things that can happen on a golf course can
be misplacing some of your most important equipment. I’m talking about
those modern essentials as well as some of the basic golf needs that seem
to find their way to someone else’s cart or the lost and found. Prevent being
the next victim by securing your wears with the Frogger Golf Latch-It
system, winner of this year’s Best New Product at the PGA Golf Show.
Using a magnetic fastening technology called Catch Latch, Frogger Golf’s
accessories provide secure, easy access to vital gear like your rangefinder, smartphone, or towel. Make
sure you have accurate yardages by keeping your rangefinder attached directly to your golf cart or bag
with the Range Finder Latch-It. The Phone and Bag Latch-It also hook up quickly and easily, so you no
longer have to search your golf bag pockets or golf cart cubby holes for those needed accessories. Leap
ahead if you are looking to make better use of your time on the course.
Bridgestone e6 Golf Balls–Easy Rider bridgestonegolf.com
I was first introduced to Bridgestone Golf Balls years ago, when I found a
Precept Laddie on the golf course and immediately liked it. So, I’ve used
them for quite awhile, and their latest release of the e6 series has validated
my devotion. If accuracy and distance may motivate you to switch balls,
take a look at the Bridgestone e6. The e6 SOFT benefits those with a
moderate to slow golf swing and is designed to gain accuracy and distance. This ball suits my game well
and will be one of my go-to balls. I’ve always liked the feel of a soft compression ball around the greens,
and this fits the bill. I also noticed very little spin off the driver face helping me with miss-hits. If you
have a faster swing, then the e6 SPEED is better suited for you. Eldrick Woods made the switch this year.
Perhaps the time has come for you give them a ride. They are well worth the fare of under $30 a dozen.
Tail Activewear–Top Tail on the Trail tailactivewear.com
Tail has been a well-known industry leader in women’s golf apparel for
the past 40 years, and I was excited to try out the new Spring Collection
of women’s golf clothing from Tail Activewear. As an “over 50” woman
golfer, I often find it difficult to find attractive golfwear suited to my
age and size. But Tail delivers once again with high quality, beautifully
coordinated golf shirts, shorts, pants, and skorts that come in a wide
variety of sizes. I especially loved the slightly longer 19” Lizette Skort with pockets for tees and balls
in all the right places. They fit phenomenally, and the advanced performance fabrics not only wick-away
moisture to keep you cool but also offer UPF 50 sun protection. And the best part for me? I tossed my Tail
golf shirts and skorts in the washer and dryer at the end of the day, and they came out perfectly. If you are
a woman golfer who wants to look stunning, feel comfortable, and own a versatile outfit that can take you
from the green to a nice restaurant, look no further than Tail Activewear. (Fernandez)
Ice Works–Getting Back on the Course myiceworks.com
Sometimes when I’m scheduled to do a review of a new product, timing is
everything. In the case of Ice Works, it could not have been better. Part of
my New Year’s resolution was to lose some weight, so I foolishly jumped
into a daily exercise routine that led this soon to be 60-year-old to overdo
it just a bit. With my golf game on the mend, I was able to try IceWorks, a
terrific replacement to the conventional bag of ice. My lower back was the
culprit as it is for many golfers. I found IceWorks super convenient first
time out just for the fact that I didn’t have do anything but put it in the
freezer the night before. This reusable item leaves no mess and can be placed directly on the skin. I fight
tooth and nail over whether cold or hot therapy works better for me, and have concluded that cold wins out
when it comes to recovery time and pain threshold. IceWorks was developed by an “injury-prone” athlete
for us part-time jocks who quite too often feel the pain of bending over for five hours. Keep yourself on the
course and not on the IR by using IceWorks, a proud USA product that comes with a three-year warranty.
