“#6 in MD, America’s Best Golf Courses” —Golfweek 2016
Encompassing more than 150 acres of breathtaking
mountain views without one house, condo, or townhouse
spoiling any fairway, Musket Ridge Golf Club is the final
gem designed by the late Gentleman Joe Lee and is known
as one of his finest works, joining the ranks of Doral and
LaCosta. From the first hole’s dramatic elevated tee shot,
golfers will view this course as one of the Free State’s
best. Undulating greens, strategically located visible
hazards from elevated tee boxes, and unique bunkering
are trademarks of this superbly conditioned golf course.
The friendly, professional staff believe that a day on the
golf course should reward golfers with the “perfect golf”
experience, and the food is second to no other public golf
course. Surrounded by abundant natural beauty and unique
topography, Musket Ridge is conveniently located just off
I-70, west of Frederick, in Myersville, MD.

“#5 Best New Affordable Course” —Golf Digest 2003
Rated HHHH1/2 —Golf Digest
In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley sits one of America’s
most spectacular golf courses. Packsaddle Ridge Golf Club
in Keezletown, Virginia, is a stunning 18-hole championship
golf course featuring incredible views of the valley below.
Golf Digest in 2003 voted Packsaddle #5 “Best New
Affordable Course.” $40,000 worth or renovations were
completed in the fall of 2014 on the front nine. This
breathtaking facility was built on more than 500 acres of
rolling countryside. Designed by renowned golf architect
Russell Breeden along with Jeff Forbes, this 4-year project
required an incredible one million tons of rock and 750,000
tons of top soil to be moved. The result is a layout that will
challenge all types of golfers and overload your senses with
natural beauty. Packsaddle Ridge is located 15 minutes off
Exit 247, east of I-81.
