          Trying New Aquatic Activity

It is never too late to try new things in life. If you desire

it and your health permits it, why not give it a go? Some people
thought of swimming with dolphins but never put it into action.

Don’t let your age stop you from having fun. There are many
aquatic activities to engage. For example, try the boogie board

at the beach in perfect weather. It isn’t just for kids or young
adults but seniors too. Get out on the water and wait to ride

that perfect wave. For extra safety, wear a life vest and have a
boogie board leash attached to your ankle or wrist; that way, you don’t lose your board. This activity has

plenty of health benefits, such as the body receiving vitamin D, decreasing your stress level, creating a
bond with family and friends, great exercise, reducing depression and isolation, increasing social

interaction, and improving skin complexion. Before doing boogie board, it is always best to consult your
physician regarding your current health status.

        Decorating For The Occasion

We need seniors. They have an enormous wealth of experience in life that we can learn about:
love, life, relationship, finance, family, childbearing, work, motherhood, fatherhood, and work. For

example, my grandmother loves to decorate the house when we have parties. While decorating, she
would hum and whistle tunes. She decorated at her own pace and time. The best time she took extra

time to decorate perfectly was during Christmas time. She had a grand time decorating the Christmas
tree and putting Christmas décor around the house. She only asked for help when the tree ornaments
were too high to reach. As a result, the home was beautiful during Christmas. My grandmother also

planned the perfect dishes to serve when her family, friends, and
                                            neighbors visited her.

One day, I asked my grandmother what her reason was for

all the effort she had made. She replied, “Decorating makes me feel
young, serving food who visits me makes me happy, and waking up

in the morning helps me remember that I have a purpose in life.
Everything I do is all worth it”. Ask your grandparent what they love
                                            to do and why?
