Symptoms of acute allergic reactions

Type A reaction (Anaphylactic type) Type B - mild reaction

Minor criteria Primary symptoms are

• Urticaria chest and back pain

• Rhinorrhea or lacrimation

• Abdominal cramping

• Itching

Major criteria

• Burning/heat sensation at the access

site or throughout the body

• Angioedema

• Bronchospasm, Dyspnea ,bradycardia,

hypotension, shock, cardiac and/or

respiratory arrest and death
