presentation. Prior to John’s talk, the three finalists in a campus-wide student
entrepreneur competition pitched their business ideas to John, A&T trustee
and business leader Janice Bryant Howroyd and Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr.
Howroyd, who in 2017 was named to Forbes “America’s Richest Self-Made Women”
list, invested $1,000 in each of the finalists’ businesses following the competition.
