Texas has been busy raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital

District IV members from Kappa Kappa and
Kappa Iota: Becky Hovermale, Cheryl Deleranko,
Lisa McQuade, and Tamara Carroll, volunteered
at the St. Jude’s Poker Tournament and Bunco
Games on March 10, 2018, in San Antonio.
$31,813 was raised from the 7-hour event.

Zeta Tau members: Judy Owens, Julie Walker Leith
and Royce Walker volunteered at the St. Jude
Radiothon on March 1, 2018 which was hosted by
Magic 102.1 in Houston, TX. The radiothon raised
$95, 411 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Zeta Tau members, Judy Owens and Debbie Sanderson, volunteered at the
St. Jude Radiothon on March 8-9, 2018 in Lufkin, TX. The radiothon was
hosted by KICKS 105. This radiothon raised
$102,923 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital!

On a smaller scale, a Swap n’ Shop “Patio
Boutique” to benefit St. Jude was set up by Kappa Kappa #4238
and raised $140 from just 12 members and friends. We only wish
the St. Jude ‘kids’ could have been there to have fun shopping
with us.

Mary Lynn Boyd with Epsilon Eta in Iowa
Park has been on TV news and noon
Specials 4 times in one week, for Operation
Blankets of Love. Her chapter set out
collection boxes to collect blankets or
towels to pass out to animal rescue
shelters. The furry friends adore their new
warmth and comfort. Texas says: “Spread
