1.Recommends the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to amend 2000, United
Nations Convention Against the Transnational Organised Crimes and review the
convention and come up with a new convention which will ensure the current
standards are taken care of;
2. Urges the member nations to follow the guidelines provided in the conventions and
adopt preventive measures which will include-
a) Identification of the victims in the early stage which will include
i)Usage of technology to track the victims which will include having secured data
network by using the advanced data technology, reducing phishing sites and
advanced spying technology;
ii) Taking strict measures on borders by tightening the security by border police
in order to prevent human trafficking;
iii)Strengthening the waterways, airways by having strict checks on the ports and
airport;
iv) Actively involving the private sectors of the country in order to keep checks
and work in coordination with the governments;
3. Recommends the member nations to enforce policies to protect the victims of
human trafficking which will include
a) Creating an administrative body which will include-
i)member expertise which will include health experts, legal experts,
social workers, who will be the designated officers and they will work in proper
coordination;
ii) this department will be considered as a task force and will further have
subsidiary bodies in different parts of the country;
b) Creating a safe health care policy for the victims which will include-
i) Providing basic medical aid to the victims as soon as they are recruited;
ii) Taking care of the nutrition of the victims who lack proper nutrition;
iii) Giving custody of the victims to the task force who will further take care of
the victims;
4. Recommends member nations to have strict prosecution strategies by
a) States should recognize their role in the due process;
b) States should build strong legislations which will include penalizing of the
accused and having strict laws related to Human Trafficking;
c)States should refer to the model law provided by the United Nations office on
drugs and crime if they face any difficulty in drafting legislation;
d) Countering the process of corruption which exists in various countries which
will ensure proper implementation of the laws and preventing the trafficking in
humans;
