3. ประโยคปฏิเสธ (Negative Sentence) คือประโยคบอกเลาที่มีคําหรือวลีที่มีความหมายใน

เชิงปฏิเสธอยูในประโยค ซึ่งจะเปนคํากริยาวิเศษณ (Adverb) เชน not, never, hardly, scarcely, rarely

เปนตน หรือคําสรรพนามแสดงการปฏิเสธ เชน no one, nobody, none, no, nothing เปนตน

 Nobody told me to go there on Sunday.

(ไมมีใครบอกใหฉนไปที่นั่นในวันอาทิตย)
