1. Audience = listeners of your presentation; their age, interests, knowledge of
the problem, their expectations.
The aim / purpose of the presentation = What should they take from your
presentation?
Differences between written and spoken communication.
Correct structure (=3 basic parts).
2. Introduction, main body, conclusion/closing.
Intro: overview, purpose, format, establishing contact with the audience.
Main body: information on the topic itself. Different organization depending
on the topic.
Closing: summarizing of key points, conclusions, consequences.

1. Main body: specification of the subject (and scope), considering purpose,
following the time limit, stating the main idea and major propositions, defining
the organization of the main body, getting a feedback.
Introduction: drawing attention of the audience, motivating them, giving an
outline of the presentation, setting the goal.
Closing: indicating an end, giving a summary, concluding from the
information given before.

3. To study not only the topic itself, but also related areas linked to it.
