LEVELING









             Levelling or leveling is
             a branch of surveying,
             the object of which is
             to establish or. verify
             or measure the height
             of specified points
             relative to a datum. •
             It is widely used in
             cartography to
             measure geodetic
             height, and in
             construction. to
             measure height
             differences of
             construction artifacts.













               CUT AND FILL





         A cut-and-fill operation is a
         procedure in which the elevation
         of a landform surface is modified
         by the removal or addition of
         surface material.


         Cutting and filling is normally
         carried out usinq earth movinq
         equipment like skid-steer loaders
         or bulldozers· Dependig on the
         size and shape oF your site,
         either a drum roll style
         compactor or a plate compactor
         may be used·
