Feature for feature, Paramount is strongest where theirs are
not. Paramount doors have extra large 4” barrel hinges with
3 /8” pins; their hinges are only 2 1 /4” with 1 /8” pins. Paramount
shelves are box formed on all sides with dual channel
reinforcements to maintain their shape; theirs are a single
flat layer prone to sagging when loaded. The Paramount
5 /16”round latching rods resist prying; their 3 /32” flat rods
can bend when doors are forced. The Paramount 48C base
is supported with an I-beam for rigidity; their base allows
the cabinet to flex, affecting proper door closure. Paramount
includes 2 door handles for ease of closing.
