Power Clean

Carpet extractors are designed to provide a thorough, deep cleaning
of carpets to remove the built-up soil and embedded grime.
They provide the deepest clean available and in return extend the carpet’s life.
Deep-cleaning your carpets can eliminate trapped allergens, contaminants
and pollutants – which is beneficial for everyone’s health. It is important
to eliminate contaminants as walking back and forth across the carpet can stir
them up, sending them airborne again. Carpets should be cleaned once a year
and seasonal carpets as needed and depending on the amount of traffic.

Hot Water vs Cold Water Extractor
All of our carpet extractors clean using cold water for operator safety. Hot
water carpet extractors create steam, which carries the active ingredients from
the cleaning chemicals and they end up in the air, and inhaled by the operator.
Cold water extractors do not create steam — leaving the active ingredients in the
                        carpet, where they belong.

Steam also creates more humidity in the building and could possibly result
in mold and mildew. With today’s technology, cleaning products are no longer
alkaline, the active ingredients perform best in cold water, and are also safer
                        for the environment.

                        Pressure Rating
A good carpet extractor will have a pressure rating of 100 PSI (water pump
pressure) or better. Select your extractor according to your cleaning needs. The
machine you select should have adequate pressure and suction to thoroughly
penetrate the carpet as well as remove the soiled solution.
