The shooting of OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar and is all set to start
soon. OMG starred Askshay Kumar along with Paresh Rawal.
This time Askhay will be playing Lord Shiva. Sharing his first
look poster on Twitter, Akshay wrote, “Need your blessings
and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to
reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy
of Adiyogi bless us through this journey”. .

The film stars Pankaj Tripathi (Criminal Justice) in the role
played by Rawal earlier and Yami Gautam.Rawal was
earlier approached to reprise his role in the earlier film.
Allegedly he demanded more money than his market
value, as he felt that he was the primary actor in OMG.
He also seems to have demanded a profit-share in the
movie and that was not acceptable to the producers. The
shooting was supposed to start on OCt 13 with Askshay
but got postponed after a few crew members tested positive
for COVID-19. The film that is being shot in Indore and Ujjain
is directed by Amit Rai. Ujjain is famous for its Mahakaal temple
and some of the shooting is going to be held in the temple.

‘Lal Singh Chadda’

Kareena has said that she was delighted to be seen again
with her favorite co star Aamir Khan in the movie ‘Lal
Singh Chaddha’.This movie is a remake of Tom Hanks’
famous ‘ Forrest Gump’.Kareena has said that her co star
Aamir Khan went through a lot while the film was being
made over the last two years. This film unites Kareena with
Khan after they made ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Talaash’ together.
Advait Chandan who made his directorial debut with the
film ‘ Secret Superstar’ has directed this film. The script
has been written by Actor-writer Atul Kulkarni along with
Eric Roth. Eric incidentally had adapted the 1986 novel
of the same name for Tom Hanks. Kareena shot the film
last year when she was pregnant with her second child
and says that shooting for this film gave her confidence
that she can work with fewer people on the set. Lal
Singh Chaddha will be released during the upcoming
Valentine’s Day. It also stars Naga Chaitnya and Mona
Singh.
