Charcoal Hands
THESE DRAWINGS ARE MADE in compressed charcoal. Compare
its nature in close-up to that of willow charcoal used on pp.204-05.
Opposite, I also used white ink with a steel dip pen.
The white lines demonstrate what is often
called "bracelet shading."
