justification with all the games and tried my best to
collect their history specially Indian History of these
games. All the suggestions and information in this regard
is welcomed with open heart.
This book will help the participants of
Powerlifting, Strength Lifting and Weightlifting events of
Iron Games through their National Federations or other
organisations.
I recognize that many amateur and non-
professional organisations play their games under
professional rules and I am happy to make these rules
available as widely as possible. It is well to remember
that specifications as to arena, equipment’s etc., may be
modified to meet the needs of each group.
These Iron Games has become an internationally
recognised games being played in most of the countries
from ancient times. The popularity of these games will
grow only as long as its players, coaches, managers,
referees, judges and administrative officers respect the
discipline of its code of rules.
