This book was planned and written for those readers,
students and research scholars whose major interest lies
in Olympics, Olympic values, Socialism and their impact
on the society.
As due to the system adopted by the socialist
countries has supported the theme of Olympism and
promoted hard work, dedication for work, friendship,
peace and humanity among the society. All the countries
chosen in this book have an important impact in the field
of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Due to their
great impact in the field they have been chosen for
inclusion in this book. The author’s feels that the readers
will read this book and get information about the
condition of games and sports in these countries and
their impact they can see by the achievements of these
countries athletes in the Olympics Games and its impact
on the social issues.
One purpose of this book is to help readers, students
and research scholars to understand the spirit of
