Dayu’s sweet memories in the primary school
1. She and her friends often teased Pak Min, the janitor.
2. They hid his broom, his duster, his mop, and his bucket.
3. But Pak Min never got angry with the students.
4. Her Physical Edycation (PE) teacher, Mr. Laode, often took
the students to walk around the hills and along the river
near her school.
5. They took a rest under the trees when they were tired.

6. She learned to ride on a bicycle in the school yard in the
afternoon after school
7. Then she could ride in the small streets in the neighbour-
hood with her friends.
8. She and her friends often spent hours chatting in the
green grass near the Kelurahan office.
9. The boys climbed the big tree.
10. They swam in the river.

11. The river was still very clean at that time.
