To my dear Grade 9s,

Thank you for the opportunity you have given

me as your Grade Head. I have been fortunate
enough to have been your Grade Head for the

past two years. I consider this to have been
both a privilege and a learning experience. It is
not often that grade heads stay with a grade for

two consecutive years, and as I reflect on the
past two years it really has been a most

rewarding experience. It has not been easy:
Covid, lock-downs, the back and forth between
online teaching and in person classes, isolating,

masks, sanitizer and screening have made for a
most challenging two years. It has not been all

bad though. My personal highlight has to have
been the Grade 8 Camp, what seems like a

distant memory now. However, the joy and
excitement experienced at the beautiful,

isolated mountain pool is etched in my memory
as if it were last week.
