Dear Grade 10s
The Grade 10 year usually begins with an
orientation programme - walks on the
mountain, cultural activities and opportunities
to establish a cohesive unit as a grade. Even in
the time of Covid, we were hopeful and planned
one out for the start of 2021, only to return to
school in the height of the second wave. As a
result, we met for the first time online, and
what has been remarkable is that albeit
imperfect, the connections and relationships
that we seek through physical activities have
been established even in the disrupted and
often distant masked, boundaried and online
spaces.
