Basheer Ahmed Elubid Easia received his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Hydrogeology from Al
Neelain University, Sudan in 2004 and his M.Sc. in Applications of Remote sensing and
GIS in Water Resources Assessment and Development, from Al Neelain University in
2012. Currently, he is working as Lecturer at Al Neelain University. His scientific interest
is mainly towards Remote sensing, GIS and their application in Hydrogeology.

Bushra Ibrahim Elhur received his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology and M.Sc. in Geology
from University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1983 and 1993, respectively. He worked as field
geologist at the geological Research Authority of Sudan (GRAS) in the period 1984-1998.
He joined the Oil Exploration & Production Authority, Sudan (OEPA) as a senior geologist
in the period 1998-2001 and then as a promotion manager (free blocks) from 2001 to
2003. Currently, he is working as Deputy Exploration Manager in Petroenergy Oil and
Gas Operating Company, Sudan. His scientific interest is toward structural geology and
geotectonics.

Derek Fairhead did Joint B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and Geology at Durham and an M.Sc.
and Ph.D. in Geophysics at Newcastle on the seismicity of Africa and the crustal structure of
the East African Rift System based on gravity data. He is an Emeritus Professor of Applied
Geophysics. He now heads GETECH (Geophysical Exploration Technology), a division of
the University of Leeds Industrial Services Ltd., a wholly University owned company. His
main academic interests lie in Applied Geophysics: geological and geophysical controls on
sedimentary basin development within and along the margins of the continents; and crust/
mantle processes related to: rifting and break-up of continents and the influence that plate
tectonics has on continental tectonics. This involves the integration of gravity, magnetic
and seismic data.

Edin Akhmad Syaripudin received his B.Sc. in the Department of Geology, Faculty of
Earth Sciences and Mineral Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia
in 2003. He worked as an Assistant Manager Middle East & Africa Area - Overseas
Team Project Management, PERTAMINA and then joined Coral Petroleum Operating
Company, Sudan as a senior geologist. His scientific interest is in petrophysical analysis
and geological modeling.

El FatihAbdallaA. Wadidi received his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Surveying Engineering
from University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1993 and 2003, respectively. He gained a higher
diploma in Management from Africa Internatioal University, Sudan in 2006, and received
his MBA from University for Sciences and Technology in 2010. Currently, he is working
as GIS & DM Section Head. His scientific interest is mainly towards GIS technology and
knowledge management in oil organizations.
