                                                                            History of the Department:

           In 1990’s, the role and responsibilities of the State Branch Offices     Social/Demographic Programme

                                                                                   Kuala  Krai,  Kapit,  Lahad  Datu  and  Kota
                                                                                   Marudu, giving a total of 28 POs; and
                                                                                  •  The  administration  of  PO  Labuan  came
                                                                                   under  the  purview  of  the  Department  of
                                                                                   Statistics, Wilayah Persekutuan.
