Bhasha Sangam- A celebration of Linguistic Diversity of India was conducted under Ek Bharat
Shreshtha Bharat with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The month of November Education Day was celebrated wherein Slogan Writing and Essay Writing
competitions were organised. The Constitution Day was also celebrated digitally by uploading
selfies with the Preamble by teachers, parents and students. Active Citizenship pledge was taken
by the teachers who were lead by respected Principal Sir.
December was highlighted by ' Fit India School Week' wherein a series of weeklong activities
were organised as per the activity plan provided by KVS Regional Office, Bhopal.
The month of January saw the celebration of the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as
National Youth Day wherein online quiz, Awareness Speech was organised for students digitally.
The month of February was marked with colourful bonanza i.e. ‘Spic Macay’ programme where
the school was honoured by the benign presence of eminent classical dancer in Kathak Mrs. Sarita
Kalele, who enamoured the students with her graceful moves and also educated the students in
a three days long programme on the virtual platform to develop love for Indian classical dance
forms among students, with special focus on Kathak.

A yearlong celebration of 150 Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation
was also observed with fun fare.
CELEBRATIONS OF PRIMARY SECTION
1. Welcome ceremony-Welcome ceremony for the new comers of class 1 is done via ONLINE
MODE. Under this, introduction is done with individual video call, then with a video
conferencing with 5 students, then with 20 students and then with the whole class.
2. Independence Day- Independence day is celebrated with full enthusiasm and children
presented cultural programme like song, poem, skit etc. through online mode.
3. Rakhi- Rakhi making competition is done via ONLINE MODE. Rakhi celebration is done in
which students of primary section made colourful rakhi and post picture of their rakhi in their
respective online group.
4. Teacher’s Day- Teacher’s day is celebrated with making greeting card and message (through
pictures and video) to teacher with title- MY TEACHER MY HERO.
5. Janmashtami - In Janmashtami celebration, students decorated MATKA and basuri etc.
through ONLINE MODE.
6. Ganesh Chaturthi celebration- Idol of Ganesh ji with clay and dance competition was held via
ONLINE MODE.
7. Diwali Celebration-Children celebrated Diwali with full spirit. ONLINE DIYA MAKING
COMPETETION is done.
