O Friend!

So soon shall we depart.
Once a stranger sailing in the sea
The ocean we shared, the voyages we paired.
An eternal bond forged by delight and despair.

To all the seafaring expeditions we led,
To the surging seas and howling gales,
To all the glaciers of hindrance we surmounted,
To those, our friendship celebrated and cherished.

But here our fate shall not be terminated;
Our bonds will persist until we perish.
Today our paths may diverge,
But remember ,my friend, it is in our souls that we merge

When the tides of time wash away our vigor,
Contemplate in retrospect to the moments we had.
From now on, the depth of the blue will embrace you my lad.
When shall we meet? only heaven knows, but until then
