Green Toy Creative Sparks

M2 Students will take part in the annual "Green Toy
Library Drive", the week of July 15th. Both classes
will be baking or cooking food products to help raise
money for the project. The students need to raise
25,000 baht to set up a toy library. The second step in the process of setting

The EPTS Amnesty International Club was started three years ago to help promote
student awareness of global human rights issues both in and out of the classroom. It
kicked off its irst meeting of the 2014 school year on Wednesday, July 9. Ms. Nawaphon
Supawitkul, an Amnesty International activism of icer, provided a brief overview of what
Amnesty International is about and then led the students through a fun classi ication-
type game, which helped them connect human rights to their lives. After that, the
students were shown a video clip about the individual- at- risk case of Mr. Chiou Ho
Shun, a Taiwanese man who has been wrongfully imprisoned on murder charges for over
twenty three years and is currently on death row. The students s
were encouraged to participate in a letter writing campaign to try y
and persuade the Taiwanese authorities to allow a fair retrial.
Some M6 students are taking charge of organizing and d
promoting EPTS Amnesty International club campaigns and d
events for the 2014 academic year.For more information, ,
