HOW TO USE YOUR PARTS AND ACCESSORIES GUIDE
Pick Up Orders:
Normal pick‑up orders received by 4:30 pm (shipping DC time) will be ready after 12:00 p.m. of the following business day.
Emergency pick‑up orders must be placed and credit‑approved by 12:00 p.m. (shipping DC time) in order to guarantee same day shipping and will be ready for pick‑up
after 3:00 p.m. (shipping DC time) the same day.
Pick‑up times are 7:30 a.m. ‑ 4:30 p.m. (shipping DC time). Pick‑up times at the Fond du Lac DC are: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The customer pick
up area in Fond du Lac is located next to dock door 22N. The security guards will ask for the delivery number(s) when the customer arrives. Please have the delivery
number(s) ready.
Orders Containing Hazardous Product:
Orders that contain hazardous product cannot be shipped by air.
Order Handling Information:
Orders exceeding 140 lbs, or any package that exceeds 140 lbs or 131" of combined length (maximum 108") and girth will be changed to a truck shipment. Note: most
powerheads, longblocks, top cowlings, gear housings and sterndrives ship via truck freight. All Second Day Air shipment orders that exceed these measurements will
default to LTL Truck. The Dealer is responsible for this freight.
All Next Day Air shipment orders that exceed these measurements will default to Quality Air Forwarding. If the delivery also contains other small package parts, those
parts will ship via truck or quality air as well. The Dealer is responsible for air freight. Quality Air Forwarding is to provide a complete next day service offering. All Dealers
are now in a one day point. Quality Air Forwarding’s goal is to deliver product(s) as the customer requested – next day is next day. However, if the Dealer is
outside of a major metro area, additional air freight charges may be incurred to achieve next day service. Dealers will be notified of
additional charges and invoiced accordingly. If Dealers would like a quote of the freight charges before ordering product please contact Sales. Quality Air Forwarding and
truck orders must be placed as an Emergency Order and credit‑approved by 12:00 p.m. (shipping DC time) for same‑day shipping.
Small package carriers and Quality Air Forwarding freight charges are billed directly to Dealer’s Mercury invoice. Other carriers will charge the air or truck freight directly to
you at the time of delivery.

Orders with Cash on Delivery (COD) payment terms are assessed a fee set by the carrier. Please note that the fee for truck shipments can be substantial.
Shipping Standards do not apply to failures caused by conditions beyond the control of Mercury Marine, including but not limited to the following: Acts of God, riots,
strikes, labor disputes, or disruptions in communication or transportation networks.

Determining Small Package Shipping Rates:
If your package has a large size‑to‑weight ratio, you may need to consider your package's dimensional weight when you calculate your shipping rates.
Determining Billable Weight:
Compare each package's actual weight to its dimensional weight. The larger of the two weights is the billable weight and should be used to calculate the rate.
Determining Dimensional Weight:
Multiply Length x Width x Height of each box and divide by 166. UPS will use the greater of actual or dimensional weight. Note: For UPS ground, this only applies if the
dimensional weight is above 27 pounds. All weights for UPS are rounded up
Special Promotions:
Mercury may offer special promotions/programs throughout the year that do not appear in the Dealer Sales Program Guide. Check MercNET News for special offers and
promotions.
P&A products purchased under Mercury promotions/programs must comply with normal return policies. No free promotional/program product will be accepted for return.
