HOW TO USE YOUR OEM RIGGING AND ACCESSORIES GUIDE


                Mercury will arrange for the product to be returned free of charge, if necessary, (i.e. call tag) and will send the correct product. This Return Authorization is necessary to
                avoid freight and restocking fees. Defective Parts & Accessories should be processed under Mercury’s Warranty policy.
             Product Concealed / Shipping Damage

                •   Please contact Sales for assistance.
                •   If product was opened more than one year after the original invoice date from Mercury Marine the request will be denied.
                Serialized Concealed / Shipping Damage Process
                •   Please follow Service Bulletin 2017‑01.
                •   Please note you must always file a claim with the freight carrier before working with Mercury.
                •   Please note not all Serialized product contains a Tip and Tell.
                •   The path to find the form on MercNET is home page, handy tools, forms, service forms, concealed/shipping damage process.
                •   If all documents and required information is not received, or if product was found damaged more than one year after the original ship date from Mercury Marine, the
                    review request will be declined.

             Engine/Inflatable Non‑Warranty Return Policy
                If the Engine/Inflatable product return is not due to a Mercury error, returns can be requested via MercNET under Order Inquiry from the MercNET homepage. Once
                the return is approved by Mercury, an email will be sent with the return instructions.
                If Engine/Inflatable product return is due to a Mercury error contact Mercury OEM Sales at 920‑929‑5838 for authorization to return product.
                All returned product must be new, undamaged, complete, uninstalled and shipped in original, factory‑sealed packaging and must
                be in new selling condition.
                Product must be returned with a copy of the Return Authorization letter and the Return Authorization number written on the carton. Any product returned without reference
                to the Return Authorization number will be returned to the Boatbuilder freight‑collect.
                Additional fees may be applied for any damaged or weathered product returns, including condition of cartons.
                Return freight expenses are to be prepaid by the Boatbuilder. Mercury does not accept freight‑collect return shipments.
                Return Authorizations are valid for 60 days.
                All returns are subject to a restocking fee to be assessed according to the following table (percentages listed are calculated off customer base price, before discounts):

                          * Special orders relate to items identified as such in the Accessories Guide.
                Engine/Inflatable product purchased directly from Mercury by Boatbuilder will be accepted for non‑warranty return if returned within 60 days from date of
                invoice. No returns after 60 days are allowed. Please contact Mercury OEM Sales to obtain a Return Authorization number.
                Further instructions for Serialized Product Returns:
                1.  Product(s) must be returned in an approved Mercury container(s).
                2.  Product(s) must be sufficiently secured to the shipping platform. For Outboards, this includes the anti‑turn bracket, to keep the motor from turning during shipment.
                3.  Serial Number(s) on the Return Authorization must match the physical product(s) being returned.
                4.  The Return Authorization number must be placed on the outside of the shipping container(s).
             Returnable Rack and Container Policy for 500‑600HP Outboards, 175‑450HP Outboards, and
             MerCruiser Engines:
                Boatbuilders are obligated to return finished goods racks and containers to Mercury within 120 days. Failure to return within this time period will result in the Boatbuilder's
                obligation to pay for each rack/container not returned. Debits will be issued to the account to which the product was originally shipped, per existing terms.
                The following charges will apply if containers/racks are not returned:
                $1,500 500‑600HP Outboard Rack
                $600 175‑450HP Outboard Rack
                $500 MerCruiser Container
                Note: Zeus pods are now shipped in wooden crates and not charged a container fee.
                Mercury is responsible for the return freight charges when Mercury’s preferred carrier is used. Mercury will not accept charges from non‑preferred carriers without prior
                arrangement and authorization.
             Arranging Pick Up:
                Call 1‑888‑637‑2738 (Mercury preferred carrier)
                State what item you are returning and the quantity of each. (i.e. 4 175‑450HP Outboard Racks, 2‑MerCruiser returnable containers.)
                Provide the carrier representative with the ID number(s) of each rack/container being returned. (175‑450HP Outboard Rack ID Example 0550083. MerCruiser ID Example:
                B123456. 500‑600hp Outboard Rack ID Example L012345)
                •   175‑450HP Outboard Rack white ID number tag is located on lower rack bar.
