IMPORTANT: Avoid shift problems:
• The drive unit shift cable must be routed as shown in the following to allow sufficient length for connection to the shift plate.

IMPORTANT: Adhere to shift cable routing requirements to avoid shift problems.
• Improper routing could result in a pinched or kinked cable or in chafing damage due to it contacting the engine coupler.
This is a common cause for difficult shift operation.
