External Thread Gauging Cordatest

Kordt Cordatest line up oer comprehensive External Thread Measuring Instruments for diameter
3 mm - 18,2 mm. Cordatests are designed to measure Virtual Pitch, Eective Pitch, Minor or Major
diameter of external threads.

The three point measuring rollers (anvils) are arranged to enclose the test piece to secure position
during the measurement. Form errors like orbiform and oval can be detected.
There 5 models to choose from:

1. Cordatest 5679 : measure eective pitch diameter (prole form K)
2. Cordatest 5677 : measure the virtual pitch diameter (prole form N)
3. Cordatest 5675 : measure the minor diameter (prole form I)
4. Cordatest 5679 : measure the major diameter (prole form D)
5. Cordatest 5620 : Hand held adjustable Three-Point-External Thread Measurement to gauge
the eective pitch diameter, virtual pitch diameter, minor or major diameter

General Features:
+ Compatible with either dial gauging or inductive probe with stem diameter of 8 mm or 3/8”
+ Available with benchtop stand Cord 4656 A3 for diameter < 6 mm and Cord 5699 for > 6 mm
+ Support block can also be ordered for easier insertion of test pieces with ne pitch (Cordatest 5685)
+ Use of the production tolerance production monitoring/SPC documentation and statistic via
measuring computer
