The additional distributor rolls, besides giving better milling of the
ink, reverse the direction of the jumbo oscillator. This lengthens the
ink train and helps to evaporate any excess water. In addition, the
long steady flow of ink helps to cover starvation streaks and
delivers a fine, even film of ink to the plate. The press is not altered
with gadget attachments. There is no drilling or tapping for
additional screws or bolts.
Installation can be accomplished by a competent operator or
serviceperson. Thereafter, it can be removed and replaced by
simply removing rollers.
