Brief Drafting (no template)

Prepare a Brief in support of the complex motion prepared for

Foundations Assignment 9. The Brief should include the case

caption, a Comes Now paragraph, the brief components (see

below) and a Certificate of Service.

The Brief should be properly formatted for filing in the litigation.

All cites should be in Bluebook format. All research should be

completed using either Lexis and/or Westlaw. All primary

binding authority should be validated (e.g., Shepardized).

Be sure to review the Rubric as part of your assignment

preparation. The Rubric is posted in the Announcements, and

is viewable in the assignment.
