         When installing valves, please ensure the following:  •  Loop 30 cm of extra cable inside valve box for wire
                                                                contraction/expansion
         •  PTFE thread tape is used to seal all threaded fittings
                                                              •  Use waterproof wire connectors
         •  The valves are installed in position such that air can be
           evacuated from the bonnet, i.e. never install a valve upside   •  Allow a valve box of sufficient size to provide access to all
           down or on an angle as this could entrap air and possibly   valves
           cause the valve to chatter and prevent valve closure
         •  In turf/landscape situations the valves are installed below
           ground in valve boxes for aesthetics and for easy valve
           adjustment and maintenance
