Linear Transformations
I N T R O D U C T I O N : In Sections 4.2 and 4.3 we studied linear transformations from Rn to Rm. In this chapter we shall
define and study linear transformations from an arbitrary vector space V to another arbitrary vector space W. The results we
obtain here have important applications in physics, engineering, and various branches of mathematics.
